GLOBAL FESTIVAL 2004

Global Festival 2004, our annual recognition of the international students at MSU, is fast approaching. It will be held at the MSU Union on November 21, 2004 from 12-5 p.m. You will find it has interests for all ages. There will be a children’s area with international games. A wide selection of countries and areas of the world will have exhibits and performances this year. The catering service for the Union will be serving a broad selection of international food in the lower food service area at the Union until 3 p.m.; also, snacks will be sold on the 2nd floor. As usual there will be the World Gift Shop on the second floor with exotic items for sale from around the world. The funds raised by the World Gift Shop will go to the scholarship fund for spouses of the international students. We would welcome additional help with the Festival program from our membership. We have committees for the exhibits, performances, publicity, welcome tables, decorations, and the World Gift Shop. An hour or two of your help with any of these committees would be greatly appreciated. If you could take Global Festival handouts to any of your other organizations, churches, and local schools, it would be a great support for this event.
