Bring your friends, neighbors, and family to experience cultures from around the world, all in just one day during the MSU Global Festival where:

  • Admission is FREE!
  • You can watch and participate in international student exhibits and live performances of their country's culture, music, dance, and arts.
  • You can shop at the Global Festival Gift shop.

SAVE THE DATE! This annual festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024, and you will be able to get the most up-to-date schedules and location closer to the date here: https://oiss.isp.msu.edu/get-involved/featured-programs/global-festival/

SUPPORT THE GLOBAL FESTIVAL GIFT SHOP: Are you looking for that unique item for your apartment, house, or dorm room? Do you need gifts? For you or someone else? Then come to the Global Festival Gift Shop and enjoy a “world bazaar experience” where you can find unique and beautiful gifts from around the world.  The merchandise consists of new or gently used donations that have been given by a large community of international students, faculty, supporters, and world travelers. Generous donors appreciate that 100% of the proceeds from their gifts go towards the Lillian Kumata Scholarship program for qualified spouses of international students at MSU.

SHOP NOW: Select items are available for purchase online at the MSU Surplus Store. If you can’t attend the festival but looking for international items, shop online at the MSU Surplus Stores here https://msusurplusstore.com/collections/cvip-world-gift-shop.  Again, your proceeds will support the Lillian Kumata Scholarships.

VOLUNTEER: Organizing the Global Gift Shop is a year-round activity that needs volunteers!  If you would like to help, please fill out the Community Volunteer Application and join the activities of preparation leading up to November 16th.

DONATE: If you or your family members have world treasures that need to find new caring homes, donate them to the gift shop.  Call the CVIP office for information on how to donate (517-353-1735)

CONTRIBUTE: Contributions to CVIP will fund scholarships and programs for international students. https://cvip.isp.msu.edu/about/make-gift/
